Not all valuable economic development opportunities come from doing business as usual. That’s why Innovation is one of our key Strategic Initiatives, and why we work with our many partners to invest in ideas that could have a lasting impact on Ohio and beyond. One of our 2023 megaproject wins was the announcement that Joby Aviation — a company that’s developing all-electric air taxis for consumer rideshare travel — will build an aircraft manufacturing facility at Dayton International Airport, creating 2,000 new jobs for Ohioans. As we reimagine the bounds of possibility, we continue to build on the promise of a stronger, more modernized Ohio economy and a future that both workers and business owners can be proud of.
