We’re very pleased to have found that in Dayton, Ohio, and wish to thank the City and State offices that have helped make this ambition possible. On behalf of everyone in our truly global business, I’m glad to say that Beontag is looking forward to sharing the innovative products that will be manufactured here with the wider North American market – and beyond."
– Ricardo Lobo, Beontag CEO
Why Ohio?
Ohio’s role as a leader in advanced manufacturing is more vital than ever as companies embrace new ways of making things with additive manufacturing, automation, advanced materials, and other new technologies. Ohio’s manufacturing sector employs over 600,000 skilled individuals, the third-largest manufacturing workforce in the U.S.
Beontag's investments in the North American market began in September 2022 with the acquisition of Technicote, a company specializing in the pressure-sensitive adhesives market for more than 40 years. The company complimented state and local collaboration as an important reason it chose Ohio for the new operations. The GATED Properties Global Industrial Park provided the company with a site and building that made it easy for Beontag to invest rapidly and with confidence in Trotwood.
