News & Press: JobsOhio Small Business Grant

The JobsOhio Small Business Grant provides financial support for real estate investments, equipment, and more for eligible projects in eligible communities and/or for businesses owned by eligible populations like minorities, women, veterans, and people with disabilities across the state. About 2.2 million people (19% of Ohioans) live in eligible communities. As part of an overall Small Business & Community Development Strategy, the JobsOhio Small Business Grant has helped over 200 companies, created over 1,100 new jobs, and retained over 4,200 existing jobs, contributing to $73 million in new investment across the state.

Eligible companies for the JobsOhio Small Business Grant must be engaged in JobsOhio’s targeted industries and business functions, including Advanced Manufacturing, Additive Manufacturing, Aerospace & Aviation, Automotive, Autonomous Mobility, Energy & Chemicals, Financial Services, Insurtech, Food & Agribusiness, Healthcare & Biomedical, Gene Therapy, Logistics & Distribution, Military & Federal, Technology, and Cybersecurity.
