Marussia was seeking to expand its U.S. operations to grow its spirits portfolio, meet demand, and scale distilling productions. The plan included relocating its U.S. headquarters, hiring talent for both back-office support and production, and investing in a large-scale distillation system, mashing equipment, fermenting tanks, and bottling line equipment.
