Forsee Power is a French battery systems manufacturer that designs, assembles, and supplies energy management systems for markets in Europe and Asia. Their lithium-ion battery systems have made them a worldwide leader in sustainable electromobility for light and heavy electric vehicles.

Business Needs

With a well-established presence in Europe and Asia, Forsee Power looked to continue their international footprint by investing in North America. For their headquarters, Forsee was interested in a location close to a large city with a good transport network and proximity to potential clients and the supply chain. They were looking for one hub in North America to host their corporate office, manufacturing operations, and R&D capabilities.

This international investment from Forsee Power will expand their production capacity to 3 GWh by 2027, which will require an estimated first- phase investment of more than $17.8 million and recruitment of a local team of 150 employees.

With over 10 years of defining the standard for battery systems in Europe, Foresee Power will look to establish their impact on the battery industry in North America. They have selected Jay Deis, an American citizen, to be President of Forsee Power North America. With extensive international experience in the automotive and commercial vehicle industries, Deis will lead the efforts to hire a management team and establish the development of the new site in Ohio.
