Findlay, ideally situated near I-75, as a good epicenter for this new facility due to higher demand in logistics and distribution as well as new customers and markets. He also cited the regional workforce and transportation assets as key factors.
Geographic location and a robust distribution and supply chain makes Ohio a hub for logistics and transportation. Ohio has the fourth largest interstate highway system in the nation, and 60% of the United States and Canadian customers are within a day’s drive, which makes Ohio ideal for road transport. Not only does Ohio have a large interstate system, but it is also connected nationally and internationally by ports, railroads, and airports.
