Ohio is Zooming at a Record Pace
It was a great pleasure to be asked to participate in the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago’s Automotive Insights Symposium panel held in Detroit. This is a long-standing industry event; next year, the symposium will mark its 30th year.
Ohio has a lot to brag about. We are proud of being the leader in engine production and a close second in transmission production in North America. However, we study the industry and have long recognized the potential for a shift from gas-powered vehicles to alternative propulsion products, like electric vehicles. How lucky we are to see this incredible evolution and for Ohio to be the geographic center of the North American automotive ecosystem. JobsOhio is poised and ready to move the industry forward.
JobsOhio works at the speed of business to secure the deals that make sense for the State of Ohio and the leading automotive companies in the world. JobsOhio has six regional partners who work tirelessly to inform companies of their dedicated talent workforce's availability, proximity to the best colleges, universities, and trade schools for engineers, and accessibility to our research and development partners. Ohio has been building things for more than a century and will continue to be a manufacturing powerhouse.
