JobsOhio Launches New and Improved Site-Selection Tools
Users have access to comprehensive data for site-selection decision
JobsOhio has introduced a new and enhanced site-selection tool on its website. ZoomProspector gives users direct access to a comprehensive library of commercial and industrial sites, demographic data, labor force numbers and other information helpful in making informed site-selection decisions. The simple-to-use program makes it easy for users to find, analyze, compare and store information.
While ZoomProspector is not meant to replace JobsOhio’s personalized site-selection assistance, it is designed to enable users to conduct initial searches on their own. Among other things, users can search for sites and/or existing buildings, compare cities and counties with others in Ohio and across the country, and analyze talent pool and labor force statistics in different communities.
ZoomProspector offers another feature that makes it particularly beneficial: information about sites that have received SiteOhio authentication.
SiteOhio is JobsOhio’s new site authentication program that makes Ohio ready for business investment. Sites that have the SiteOhio seal are guaranteed to be ready for immediate development, saving businesses time and money and increasing their speed to market. Through this program, sites undergo a comprehensive usability audit and must meet strict criteria. A SiteOhio authentication guarantees the JobsOhio team has accurately described a property’s overall attributes, conducted all necessary due diligence, identified and mitigated risks and barriers, and verified access to and capacity of all utilities. This means the site is ready to go on day one.
Check out the five SiteOhio authenticated sites here; several more are expected later this spring. The SiteOhio flag in the upper right hand corner of the photo identifies SiteOhio authenticated sites.
ZoomProspector and SiteOhio are two new services that reflect our commitment to helping Ohio communities thrive and succeed in Ohio.
